Any hunted Eufaula last night? I can't wait for Thursday here in Camden it's going to ruff if it doesn't stop raining! Saw 50+ gators Friday night went back Saturday night after the rains and saw 2 in 5 hrs!

Are you scouting the new area or the upper section. I scouted sat night and saw around 15 only 1 shooter.

Just above millers ferry! There isn't a new area for the west central!! The new addition goes with the south west zone!

They added from millers ferry down to the 84 bridge in Monroe county. It's supposedly 70 miles of river.

I have hunted it the last two years also and killed a 12' 6" and 14' 1" from right below bogue chito and white oak. This year we haven't seen much with size up that way either. Are you seeing any big gators to the south or just a bunch of 2-6 footers.

We will probably pass each other at some point! Good luck! There are rumors around of a monster in chitto that was seen in the spring! I don't go in the big 3 creeks usually but there is a monster in there!

Haven't heard that rumor and I haven't seen any big gators in any of the creeks so I doubt ill be in there except to launch the boat.

I've been north and south of the dam, a bunch of little gators south and bigger ones up north. I am putting in at the state park and going to the north. Been on the river 8 of the last 14 nights. Rain has really got everything messed up and if it keeps raining like it did today we may all be screwed this year

I'm not worried about the rain as much as the cooler temps coming in. Could be a bad first weekend.

If the weather doesn't change there want be 5 gators killed the first weekend! Rain makes it tough And cooler temps makes it tough both will mke it nearly impossible!

More rain coming the next five days, according to forecasts. Frog-strangling wrath of God rain.

I'm dumb to the gator stuff, but does temps in the 70's and 80's make that much of a difference?

when you guys go in white oak, the gut to the left just as you go in before the landing, there is a good one in there. saw him several times in the spring. also headed up river from Bogachitto, on the right, just above rum creek, in the far back left finger there is a fine one in there as well. If you down in Monroe, the lake we refer to as "wooded lake, stump lake or no name lake" there is a big one in there as well. if you go across from Isaac creek at a 45 degree angle up river and go in that small creek it opens up into the "fields" there's a couple of good ones in there. If you need additional directions, let me know.
