Been fishing the 100% payout open weekday tourneys here lately. I don't have any pictures, didn't have time to take any. Bite was on fire yesterday! Couldn't even tell ya how many we caught, but it was one after another mostly in the 2-3 lb range, with a little one here and there. Best fish landed was 4.8 for me, broke off on a 5 or 6lbr using a 20lb fluro leader, I'm done with fluorocarbon, I have not found a knot that holds no matter what. So wound up throwing straight braid rest of the day, didn't make a difference, still biting it very good.
We did not place tho lol. Big fish yesterday was 8.6 and they had another close to 8 lb kicker fish. Almost 19lb with 3 fish. Unreal bag for this time of year. Awesome day on the big G.
Jig jig jig jig See yall on the water, take care

Use Seaguar Abrazx.... Expensive but will change your mind on fluoro..... I use 20lb at Guntersville for jigs, cranking, and spinners. Never had a problem... Also when tying knots make sure the line is wet......

Always wet it brother. Still have problems. It may be somethin on my end I'm doin wrong, just don't know. I've tried a bunch of different kinds, always breaks, and it hurts when it's a good one. When I broke yesterday, the fish came and flopped twice trying to spit the jig out, it was a good one. Figures tho, went straight braid and still got bit a lot, but not another one like that. I did manage to catch one rite at 5 lb. Coulda used that 6+ tho, or at least he looked 6+ when he jumped I'll check out the line you mentioned

That's the knot I was showing you Matt. San Diego Jam Knot. It's awesome. I still won't use Fluro though.
