I am looking for a hunting club within an hour of Clanton or that has a club house. Must have buck restrictions at least 6 or better or hit list deer trophy and culls. I eat lots of deer but have several places to hunt for meat. I am looking for somewhere to kill a couple of does and good bucks and have a place for my wife and son to have a chance to kill something decent. I hunt hard and am not looking for a place to see 15-20 deer or less a year. I can hunt public land and see twice that. Trying to stay $1500-2000 max. Must have a good turkey population also an hogs a plus.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

After you pass the church my property starts about 400 yds on the right back behind the houses. There is a dirt drive cnty rd 40 before you get to the flag pole in the Smithermans garden. Im out it on the right.

Possum Creek would be a 45 minute drive for you. But since you live in Chilton Co, it will probably take 2 hours; I don't think anybody in Clanton drives over 35 mph. wink

I have to pass thru Clanton to get to my place, which is surrounded by Possum Creek. I think they have a situation that is what you are looking for, except thankfully we don't have any hogs.

I appreciate it preacher but i had to beg steal and borrow to get my wife to give me my club allowance. My limit is suppose to be $1500 but if i find the right club she will have to get over it. I dont think i can talk her into another $700 though.

Why don't you wait and try and find you a lease close to home for way less thatll be yours and only yours?Thats what I do..We own 127 acres here at home but I lease 182 bout 10 minutes from here for less than your looking to spend on a club that could potentially have alotta drama involved in it with possibly 30+ members

Possum Creek has very little or no drama. We have 4500 acres and 75 food plots with several 2 or 3 man houses set up on plots and cutovers.

Our rules are very clear and strictly enforced and because of that we have no problems. We are serious bout our hunting and serious bout our fellowship(eating)

Check out our Facebook page.

But I totally understand on the financial end. Just cost a ton to operate a well established club with our kind of setup.

Thanks once again PCP. Nothin beats good neighbors!!!

I don't mean a plus for the property! Just gives me something else to kill. Plus they taste real good.

You would let a lousy $700 keep you from being in a good club? And you have to get permission from your wife? You needed premarital counseling real bad, but now its too late. The husband should make important decisions like joining a hunting club; the wife should submit.

Good thing my wife never reads aldeer. smile

Good luck on finding the right spot. We may have some openings in Weogufka Creek at $450, but you get what you pay for regarding hunting clubs. We have lots of good guys, but hunting is nowhere close to what Possum Creek has.
