After about a 3 year hiatus...mine have returned worse than ever. In the past tried every imagineable seizure med to stop them and some did but the side effects were all so bad one doc said I had added a couple to the list. Has there been any news othere than take you an Imitrex and man up?

I found out a lot of mine was from grinding my teeth. U might want to talk to a dentist and see if that could be one of the causes.

I got diagnosed with celiac disease after 20 years of mis-diagnoses. It is totally controlled by cutting out gluten. I was taking 2 meds for colon and imitrex shots as fast as I could get them through insurance. I am now totally free and after 2 years of eating gluten free have only used 2 shots.

Sometimes migraines are dietary. I used to get them when I was a teenager but I was eating a lot of processed junk back then like hotdogs and other crap. I stopped the junk food and havent a problem since.

Make it a point to stay hydrated. Even to the extreme. Being electrolyte low can cause all types of problems like this, even seizures.

I had severe migraines from about 4-10 years old.Docs Didnt know what it was.I would hurt so bad I had to get in a pitch dark room with no noise and cry myself to sleep.Made multiple trips to children's.I remember them strapping me down at about 7 years old and doin a catscan on me.The only thing they ever gave me was liquid phenegren for nausea cause it made me sick I hurt so bad.Never really gave me a diagnosis.Since the docs never found anything wrong with me they told my parents that hopefully ill grow outta whatever it is.My last migraine was 20 years ago.I was having about 2 a week behind my right eye for years.Definately an awful awful pain.

I have cluster headaches and have used all kinds of meds with no success. My Dr said that the cluster headaches can be seasonal. I have noticed that I have more during then spring time than any other time. The only remedy I have found is a dark room and about 24 hours. All the Meds I have tried have made me sick. I also grind my teeth while I sleep so that could be my problem.

Never had headaches in my life till about 3 years ago, wasn't sleeping well and have allergies. "Head" doc said sleep and allergies are both huge drivers of headaches. Started sleeping better,and got the allergies under control, good as new. If I get behind on sleep a couple days,I start feeling a headache come on. BTW, he gave me some Rx you mix with water or juice, whoa nelly, you drink that stuff and in 5 min headache gone, with no side effects. Check it out, sorry , don't remember the name.
Sleep driven headaches are a nasty cycle, can't sleep because you have a headache,have a headache because you can't sleep.

I've never had migrains but for the allergies get some local honey. It has all the local pollen still in it and your immune system needs that via the honey to fight airborne/pollen related allergies. Grocery store honey has all the pollen removed.

HEY I found THE BEST migrane meds there are!

it is called ZOMIG and unlike most migrane meds you can take it even after you have one (not when you feel one coming!)
Ive tried every type and nothing worked...imitrex ..sucked!

I only get 1-2 a year but they are the worst...no lights or sounds..throwing up constantly.

ZOMIG hammers migranes...in less then 45 minutes...your asleep...and wake up without one. Migrane gone..you sleep well...its really unbeliveable! I suffered since I was 13 before i finally found it last year!

ZOLMITRITAN is the main ingrediant. I use 2.5 mg pills

x2 on the Zomig. My Mom has them really bad and she takes the Zomig and it knocks them right out.

I have used Zomig also. It makes me dizzy fealing.

Somebody said that there is good results on migrains using oxygen.

The sleep and headaches makes since, my fiancee has headaches every Saturday and Sunday, none during the week though.
