I guess I've been under a rock, but I didn't know ammo was as scarce as guns.
Recon how much a 100 rd box of 380 fmj would be worth?

I was in the Academy on 280 the other day and the guy behind the counter said there were people who had stayed there for about 8 hours waiting on the delivery of ammo. He said it all disappeared off the pallet before it could get put up. So good luck finding some.

Was in Academy @ Prattville last weekend. Looked like folks diving for Mardi Gras beads as they were unloading the buggy to stock shelves. Definitely worse than '08. BPS had plenty of .45 and .40 the same day.

I was in the Academy in Decatur on Monday and it was the same way...There were about 10 people "looking" at the ammo aisle, but there wasn't hardly anything on the shelves - maybe 25 boxes of various ammo on the whole aisle

Same deal in Montgomery. I did luck up and find some silver tips in .308
Got an order in now thru Cabelas for some more. Crazy times. Might be time to pull out the old reloader. 'Course when this happened before you couldn't buy primers.

Hoover got 25 50 boxes of 9mm in this morning, was gone before I could get there. Hoover Tatical says they can't get ammo.

Wal-Mart in Hoover had .380 FMJ in stock as of a couple of day ago.

Yes, you will go there, just hoping to see him, but knowing in no way form or fashion you will see him, unless by some chance, roughly 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 : 1 he will still be there.

Better save your ammo if you can get it... I've been all over and it's the same... No ammo...

I found one box of Hornady .270 130 gr. at the 150 Hoover location last Saturday night. Place looked like it was going out of biz.

if i cant get stinking hunting shells i AM gonna get pissed!
last year i gave some friends at work two boxes of 7 mag shells because i didn't have one anymore. now i'd like to have them to barter.

Hoover's shelves were empty tue. There was 1 box of fusion 243 that looked lonely so I took it home.

I got a gift card to Cabelas for christmas, browsed the ammo section and they are out of everything I shoot. I found some 22LR but thats about it.

Be patient gentlemen ammo along with accessories will e back as the month comes to an end. Remember how long it took to pass the gun ban before? Be patient

Tuscaloosa Academy had several plastic boxes of 200 rounds of 5.56 for $189.99 this afternoon.

Simmons was putting it out today. got stocked up on my 55grn and 77grn 223 stuff.

Holy crap!!!!!! Almost $1 a round????

They price it to what the market will bear, when the panic settles down the price will come back down as well. Some would call it profit-taking, others call it profiteering.

BPS had some 380, 40 and 38 this morning. But, it all came home in my truck.
