Damn fog and squirrels

With this moon like it is I probably could have been in a tree already at that time. Ha. Sittn next to a creek bottom in kind of a thick area. Sounds like the yankees just landed at Blakeley this mornin. Bout 30 shots a minute comin from the delta.

I've seen 3 deer and a bobcat. I had a doe and a fawn come out right at daylight, but something spooked them. About 5 minutes later, I saw a bobcat slipping around the edge of the field (I figure the bobcat is what spooked the deer). About that time, the fog rolled in and I can't see but 100-150 yds. now. About 6:45 a young doe appeared out of the fog and she fed in the corn for about 15 minutes...this fog is killing me!

Just killed my first of the season. Decided to bring my bow to a hardwood ridge. She came exactly where I wanted her to be. I watched fall from the stand. It is a beautiful morning. Good luck everyone. God bless

Wow this fog is THICK!!! Here in Limestone county set up on a beautiful dried up river bed. Could see a mile earlier but about only 50 yds now. Hope it rolls on out!!

Just had a 6pt come in he got to about 30 yards and spooked

Seen 2 does and 2 fawns between 6:30 and 7:00

This morning I'm hunting about 100 yards from an old Civil War cemetery back in the woods. On my way in I thought about the little girl from the elevator Anyway, I didn't run into her on the way in so I figured it would be a good day on the stand - despite the full moon. So far I haven't seen anything but I'm enjoying the heck out of being up in a tree!

The fog has finally lifted...I've been watching a young 6 pt. since 7:45. He's wearing out our corn

Seen a 6 and a 7 point so far.

The 6 pt. stayed out in the corn for an hour. I've got 7 hens headed towards the corn now

I watched the first quarter of the SEC championship, then headed for the woods...I'm on one of our foodplots, hoping for a good buck or a big ole nanny to step out!
