I'm in a great spot. Some idots had nailed a No Tresspassing sign on a tree that I walked by to get to my spot, but they must not know where the boundary to the WMA is. I'm a good 300 yards past that sign, set up on a nice oak ridge.

I hunted off the side of Crow off 33 today on my club. Saw a big spike and a 7 pointer, both young deer so they got a pass. Not a shot fired on our place. Worst opening day since I can remember.

East wind here. Got up, looked outside at the flag, got back under the covers.

Three of us were out there this morning. I saw nothing, one buddy saw a white flag and got blown at, and my other buddy saw two does cross the road about 20 yds from my truck when he sitting on the tailgate waiting for us to come out. Did not see that many people out off of 33.

I got 3 in that came off Skyline WMA this morning. 2 does and a good 165 lb 9 pointer. I've only had to skin 5 so far today. This is a very unusual opening day as a processor.

I hunted a new spot yesterday at little coon. Killed a coyote at 8 and 2 does at 10:20. I counted the shots yesterday and heard the 50th shot at 7:07. I stopped after that.

I washed my deer off in the creek and a buddy of mine stopped by with a giant 7 point he had killed at 8 am. He said it came off the mountain feeding.

Here are the 2 does I killed.

Had a buddy kill a supposedly huge 12 point, I am trying to get a hold of him to see if I can get a picture of it. Don't know if its the same deer but this guy has killed some biggun's up in JC.

Not the 180 but his deer did go 156.
