I will be there with a buddy who has been going for years. This is my first time up there so I have no helpful advice for you. I am definitely going to be wearing my orange, but I am still kind of nervous because there are still plenty of idiots out there. What's an idiot? Round here they're known as idots.

Who is heading up to the Skyline WMA this weekend? Trying to decide which area we are going to hunt. Any thoughts? Not looking for honeyholes, just advice from those that have experience there. There will be 3 of us hunting together. Thanks! You should be fine if your on the WMA, the most gun hunters I saw last year was coming off the WMA onto the private hunting club I was in last year. Seriously a place called the Post Oak Flat is some good hunting off County Rd 33. Didnt see many people hunting it last year (probably because they drove past it to trespass on the private property). I had several really good pictures of a large 8 and a 12 point coming off the Post Oak Flat WMA onto the private land I hunted. Mainly a cutover jungle but if you go on down the gravel road there is a huge hollow full of big timber. I killed a 154 inch 13 point coming off that WMA last year.
We are not perfect, only forgiven!!!
