Does anyone know of any brand of snake proof boots that are scent free such as the regular rubber boots we wear most of the time.

Well, I found some Lacrosse boots, but they aint cheap at $160.

Anyone have any other brands they are comfortable with.

I broke down and got a pair, $176 with shipping. Probably the smartest $176 I ever spent, because we are wrapped up with cottonmouths.

The only thing I do not like about my woodyarmor boots is they are hot. That said I would not stop wearing them because of it.

This is true. Mine are leather bottoms/cordura top and not scent free but I bought them for turkeys, not deet. $200 but I have had them 5 years, they don't leak, and they wear like sneakers.

I bought some snake chaps from a company named wicks, they're like waterproof / snakeproof leggings glue to a pair of lacrosse grange boots. I called immediately after opening the box and they said as long as they have been in business and from their research ( however much that is) no one has had venom enter their foot thru a pair of lacrosse rubber boots......take from this what you will but that's what I was told, a guy that works with the state had a pair on to blast our beaver dams and ditches. Said he has been struck at least 100 times and none have made it thru

Give me bout 15 more minutes, I was dreamin about beavers..........

I've got some Rattlers brand chaps, circa 1995ish. They're HOT. They work pretty good keeping chiggers off you. If the chiggers get under the chaps, they get cooked before they can bite you.

I've got some rattler chaps i got last year, they are pretty good, just uncomfortable to me..I bought the lascross slip ons, they are about knee high and comfortable as can be I think they were around 170 including tax. I will never second guess spending the extra money and buying a quality product...as far as the chaps..I never wear them anymore, first one to pm me and pay shipping gets them! be warned they are like a 32-34 inseam..yea im on the short side lol

I bought these a couple of years ago to work around the lease and hanging stands. I use them in bow season as well. Shockingly comfortable, and have been pretty easy to keep somewhat scent free/controlled. I caught them on sale for like $69 at Prattville
