I always used the retriever reels made by ams. But I think the spincast reels are better for faster retrieval. Just dont forget to push the button or you will lose some arrows. This is what I used. I havent been in a year or so. http://www.backwaterbowfishing.com/onlinestore/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=156 I could tell you where one is located at the bottom on the TN river over by point mallard attached to a bow if you got the scuba gear.

I haven't been in a couple of years but I started with a spincast reel and then I got a retriever reel. I like the retriever reel a lot better. Although I found it easier to lay the bow down with bigger fish and pull them in by hand. IMO
