How old do you think he might be?

I dont see 5+, straight back, not real deep in the chest, long thin neck! I suck at aging deer on the hoof so I may be way off! Tell me where yall are getting the 5+ so I can learn! Awesome buck and shooter for sure, congrats! Oh, my guess would have been 3-4! Thanks!

He's showing a lot of brisket, good belly on him considering it's the end of summer. He will look huge in November. Thick in the front end. Notice how he has a short legged squatty look. Notice that there is not a distinctive line where his neck starts/comes out of his brisket area and shoulders. They will all look skinny necked just below the head this time of year especially if they have a thick body to compare it against. A 3-4 yr old will look like a slick thoroughbred race horse. Long legged, straight back and tight paunch. Aging is not exact science and he could possibly be 4.5 but he's definitely not a 3 yr old. I'm sticking with my guess of at least 5. Maybe Troy and some of the others will chime in.

Here is pic of the same deer from last year. I figured he was 3 last year, which puts him at 4 this year.

I dont think that's the same buck. You might have the dreaded problem of having 2 good ones on your hands. Pic from last year looks like he is a 9pt with bumps starting to grow on his G4 on the left side and G5 on the right. Also looks like he is completely missing a brow tine on his left side. Very seldom will a young deer go from expressing additional points back down the following year to a clean 8. Also it has been my experience that most of the time if they are missing a brow completely at 3 or older they will not ever have it and the buck in the first pic has both for sure. Also, you can't tell much about aging a deer from a frontal pic like this one.

that deer is six all day long....

Little Foot, look at the briskit how far it sticks out in front of the legs, how "short" the legs look, got a lil pot gut, and his skin dosen't fit tight. Kinda loose like an old guy wearing a suit a six too big.

six all day...

I should be getting some more angles of him this week. Just refreshed all my camera locations yesterday. He doesn't have a brow tine on his right side and you can see the crab claw starting to emerge just as it did on the earlier pic. They may not be the same deer, and the main thing that would cause me to question that is that the prior year pic had 6 on his left side and this years only has what appears to be 4 maybe 5.

I hope for your sake they are different deer. Definitely same genetics if so. He's a good one or they are good ones. Post some more pics.
