I was texting once and saw a buck walking out of range that was in range, but I was too busy texting to see him mad

So now I only use the phone if it's a must, while hunting. laugh

Pay more attention to the deer and less attention to your phone and you will probably see more deer.

Cell phones actually attract deer. My brother-in-law killed THREE deer within a one minute period while talking on his phone in the stand a few years ago.

My truck seems to attract deer, too, but I still don't take it to the tree stand with me.

I killed a doe Sat afternoon. She came in from behind and I no idea she was there. I got a text from my wife and the doe jumped but didn't run off. She should have!

I actually have a "Chirp" sound choice on my cell. There is a few second delay b/w the chirps. Sounds just like a bird!
