Please refer to checklist. Like a good Boy Scout, you got to be prepared.

I just laid all of my chit out on the bed and my wife asked me if I was going camping or just hunting in the morning.

I think I had:
bow and quiver with 5 arrows
release + extra one in my pack
key to gate and ATV
hunting license and a pen
two headlights
knife
range finder
binoculars
bug repellant
rubber boots
toilet paper
grunt tube
safety harness
fanny pack
face camo
gloves
two shirts
pants
socks
limbers
clippers
wind bottle with powder
extra magnet
Dead Down Wind scent spray
and a snack to eat in the morning.

I believe the B'ham paper last Sunday had a checklist (or, the writer submitted one) with the pre-season deer hunting story.

Forgetting the TP ain't fun.

I always carry a spare release in my pack. Never had to use it myself, but General had to borrow it to kill one. laugh

It was another lesson learned the hard way, but I do that too.

The first year I went to IN to hunt I forgot my quiver, lost a whole day of hunting trying to find more arrows. Left it in the carport now it is attached to my bow case.

I climbed my tree twice today. My quiver slid off as I was pulling up my bow. Still killed though. wink CD.

I ALWAYS attach my release to my bow when I take it off. That way I always have it if I have my bow.

My fanny pack has a quart ziplock bag full of folded soft papertowels. Sometimes regular old tp just won't cut it in the woods! LOL

Watch out which type you use. Those baby wipes can give a bad case of monkey butt.
