ICOT you have 2 great place's to start just below you. 1st. would be Larry Odell's Archery which handles Mathews which has the Genises. And then you have Mountainboro Outfitters who carries Hoyt and most recently a new Apline Dealer, which I hear makes nice bows for both women and kids. Either one of the place's would be a great start. And each one does great work on bows an set-ups.

Good advice!!! My wife shoots the Mathews Ignition & loves it. It is just as fast as the Mustang for alot less $$. It is set up with a Whisker Biscuit rest, G5 peep, 25" Gold trip Entrada 600 arrows w/mini blazer vanes & we get 230f.p.s.(cronographed). Pretty fast for 43# & 24.5" draw.

ICOT......

i work with larry odell in the shop some and the post above mentions the ignition...... it is a great womens/childrens bow....

Mathews also has a CAM exchange program on that bow.... if you buy the bow and need to switch to a different draw...( growing kids) the dealer can send that one back and for $20 get a new size..

Alan at M.O. can also help in getting your wife and kid into a bow... either place is top notch depending on you preference

Look at the new Mission Menace. It is made by Mathews, is adjustable from 17-30 inches of Draw length and 18 to 52 lbs. It runs @ $270 and will do just fine for either one. I have set up alot of kids bows and this one is by far the best i have seen.

The whisper creek is what I bought my 7 year old also. It is cheap priced and good enough for a kid start out with. I bought it at fants in cullman.
