Hell I waded through 200 yrds of gator and moccasin infested backwater(waste deep) in the dark opening morning this year to get to a spot and didn't hear a single gobble! I'd swim the Tombigbee to choke one of the evil bastards!Lol!

And I thought you were a turkey hunter. Well it could be said that a sho-nuff turkey hunter could set up on this side of the Sipsey and talk so sweet to him that he would fly across it to you. But on a serious note, I'll wade across water to get to one (did it this season) but I ain't swimming. If he's on the other side of a body of water that big and deep I'll drive around it or come back with a boat. You can work smart or you can work stupid as my dad used to say.
The best index to a person’s character is (a) how he treats people who can’t do him any good, and (b) how he treats people who can’t fight back. - Abigail van Buren
