1982 CJ 7 Laredo. Lots of work has been done to this jeep to get it into mechanically exceptional condition. 6cyl 4 on the floor. New electronic carb. New exhaust. Guages and instruments work. It has a bikini top and soft top. No rust on frame. Body has had some bondo work to restore previous body rust. It would need a tub swap for a museum quality Jeep, but perfectly good for cruising around town. $5800.

yep. guess i don't know my 1982 jeeps like you. sorry for the dumb question. as i was considering the purchase, just wanted to know. LOL... No worries. Just messing with ya. Postal Jeeps are about the only ones that were ever 2WD from the factory (until 2007). All CJ's were originally 4wd, but some have been converted by owners to a bastardized 2WD version. Doesn't hurt to ask.

They are bringing good money if they are in good shape. Jeeps are always a losing business venture though. There is so much in the way of aftermarket parts, you can get out of hand real fast.

Toothdoc I had no idea this had not sold, as I have a friend who told me couple weeks ago be on lookout for jeep. Will ask him if he has located one.
That is one fine machine worth every dime... does it have full top or just bimini

It has both, but I only drive it on pretty days, so I just keep the bikini on it. I had a guy on Craigslist who wanted it a while back, but I had a bunch of things hit my plate at once and dropped the ball on selling the jeep.
