Sorry you guys are going through this. This name isn’t going to sound very popular, but if I had to have a whipple, this is who is doing it.
Dr. Veeraiah Siripurapu, MD at Huntsville Hospital. Fantastic surgeon and person.

Cancer should be a four letter word. I am sincerely praying for your wife and you brother. I still remember the day I was told I had cancer. Please keep us updated.

Hoping for the best.

Lost my father to pancreatic cancer over 20 years ago.

Terrible way to die.

Can’t help with that type of cancer. I’m recovering from a lymphoma and had a tumor on my knee. Thankful it was found early. My wife works in cancer research so I do have someone to interpret for me. Shand’s Hospital at university of Florida removed my tumor and replaced my knee and my local oncologist is lights out. I said all that to say this. I’m not a religious man but grew up in church and know the scripture. To start from jump, me and god had a talk and I laid it his feet. Of course I have worried but I’ve never doubted. Jesus said to take his yoke because it’s light so I gladly swapped. I also went back to the mustard seed. I have the faith and it does move mountains. I deferred to the experts and trusted God to put the right people in place. There’s not enough room to type how it all came together but it could not have happened without help from above even to a underserving person. There is a god. I’m 8 weeks of Physical Therapy and 1 more chemo treatment from being called in remission. I don’t know if you really ever called cured from cancer. Keep the faith and work the plan. God heals, it might not be over night like early New Testament stuff but he has a plan.

MD Anderson is where you want to be, retired coworker just got diagnosed with PC, early test are showing the slow growth cancer. My wife coworker had the whipple procedure done and as of know doing extremely well also another she knows had the procedure with good results.

There is an organization called Pilots for Christ that flew her coworker to Houston numerous times no charge.

They do have a website
