I didn't know we had a gator forum. Anyway, fished Eufaula this past weekend. Saw more gators than I've ever seen in my life. The shad were spawning on the banks. The birds were eating the shad. The gators were eating everything else. It was like watching the wildabeast in Africa trying to cross the river. Huge explosions along the bank in the grass. Gators doing work.

Round ‘bout there

Sounds awesome. I love fishing down there in spring, especially during the shad spawn.

Big Mama Gator in the Witch's Ditch should be pushing 47 or 48 feet by now. She grows every year. grin

I'm good for one big fish when we go. This year it was a 6.5 LM. Too bad it was in practice and not on tournament day.
