BIG pick up for the Tide
Alabama needed a new kicker for the 2024 season and was able to land the most recent winner of the Lou Groza Award, given to the nation's best kicker.

Graham Nicholson, who won the award this past season for Miami (Ohio), announced Sunday on social media that he is transferring to Alabama.

That’s a big get. I believe Talty is the future but getting this kid takes some of the pressure off the youngster and allows him to develop.

This simply cannot be true. I thought Bama was destined for 15 yrs of mediocrity and was going to go 5 and 7 this year. Why? Cause Burbank, the world's greatest football prognosticator, said it was going to be so. According to him, AU wins the Natty and Bama is not bowl eligible for the 2024-25 season.

I thought he and his running buddy, brokeback cowboy, said that everyone was leaving Bama, "like rats off a sinking ship", and Bama was going to have trouble having enough players left to even field a team this year. Best kicker in the nation transfers in? Must a a typo or something.

I look for Bama's offense to be one of the best of all time this year.

The best two kickers in the league next year may both play at AU and that is no exaggeration.

You might be correct. But it is AU so we probably will never know. Your offense has got to get the ball across the 50 yard line, in order to kick one, and that has rarely happened the past couple seasons. At least we know that the AU kickers will have fresh legs, if the need ever arises, but damn if that punter's leg isn't slap wore out.

I have them at 7-5 after this addition. Should be good for 2 wins which would get Dabore over .500

Auburn making playoffs this year! I had Bama going 7-5 also, but with new kicker maybe 8-4. Heisman qb went 3-9 in spring game, gonna be a tough year for the tide. Next year they'll call it a rebuilding year.

So the Auburn Athletic Dept is going to pop for tickets to the playoff games for all the Auburn players? That's mighty nice but won't they be busy preparing for the Independence or Birmingham Bowl around that time?
