If you are going to report false data, be smart enough to mix it up a bit.

In my line of work I often have occasion to review vendor’s material quality reports. I’ve found that there are patterns of lying. If the “max value” on a certain metric is, say, 0.050, and actual is 0.054, the vendor misrepresenting data will often list 0.050 instead of something random like 0.043. I suppose it makes the lie feel better to them. Patterns like this drawn attention after a while.

Fudging the numbers with election coming up started that chit when Obama was coming up for re election. They are just more blatant in our face with it now and not even trying to hide it like everything else. Who’s going to hold them accountable ? no one like everything else also. Plus they have changed the way the way they calculate all that info but I don’t know the specifics other than I can tell you it’s a straight up lie thrown in our face like most things now days. Like the inflation rate they announce of only 3% or so. Straight up bald lie but they keep getting away with it and not being held to account. One day folks like the working man will have enough of the BS. My guess is that doesn’t happen until the day it all goes to chit and we have to stand in line for the govt cheese also along with everyone else.

Its also works like this.
Many years ago I came up with a very simple way to show how different statistical chart measures can be transformed so you can see how those different measures follow similar patterns. It is just a visual representation and is just a visualization tool. Like looking at a picture through different color filters, nothing special.
I'll be damned that if within a year of me showing that, folks were using the same technique to make impossible insane claims. I would come back and tell them that is not how that function works and that it is not showing anything at all, but they are still doing it.
To prove that the method I invented shows absolutely nothing I showed how the price of rice in China follows the exact same pattern as the growth rate of cockroaches in Germany. Both are easy to find measures. Some smart enough to be a dumbass dickhead still came out of the woodwork and said cockroaches eat the garbage made by humans which is directly proportionate to the availability of rice in Germany so of course they show the same pattern.

It's not just the current administration (POTUS). It's all three branches and all alphabet agencies. And, it is only getting worse with each election.

And Covid had a 1% death rate….
