Johni Broome is returning. The portal wasn't an option so it was either Pro or return. Apparently, the pros wanted him to start out playing in Europe. He said the NIL money was better than playing in a foreign country so AU gets one of the top big men in the country returning. Upgrading at PG makes next year look promising, but you never know what can happen with young men during the off season.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Cardwell is also coming back so both our big men will be back with another year of experience under their belt. The only negative thing I can say about that is that Cardwell is good enough to be a starter at so many other programs. BP does a masterful job of using his bench and keeping Cardwell happy. He is certainly a huge asset to have as a reserve when needed. The alley oops with the jams from him are sure crowd pleasers and get folks out of their seats.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I almost spit my drink out when you said one of the top big men in the country is returning. He’s soft. Has no business playing as a big man. If he wants to succeed he better improve his shooting and ball handling and learn to play outside the paint. That’s prolly why the pros wanted him starting out in Europe. But unless he loses his whiny cry baby attitude it ain’t gonna matter. He’s not Lebron so that attitude won’t work for him.

The nations sportswriters don't agree with you, but you are entitled to your opinion. He was, after all, an All American. Not first team, but that is what next year is for.

X2...He don't impress me at all, thinks way too much of himself and he's bad to choke when the pressure gets turned up....He's got Weak sauce all over him.....02

Broom had a very big year for us - we win 27-28 games this year
If you understood our b-ball history - you would appreciate that way more. Here is a quick synapsis - imagine how bad vandy is in football - multiply that by 20 - and thats about how bad our b-balk history is!!!!!!!! We were the arm pit of sec basketball - absolute bottom of the barrel. We had a handful of good years under ellis and sonny smith and the rest was pretty much suckville!!!
Yes - we exited early - it happens! We were an eyelash from exiting first round of 2019 - instead we were screws out of a finals appearance - and we beat out a ton of 1-3 seeds to get there
We hav a 5 star coming in and we just got a monster portal. We setting up well for next year
Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self We need prayer for our country now more than ever

JB is a huge return for Auburn. You may not like his antics but you gotta respect his game.

He was a third team all American I believe. Doesn’t really mean too much. We will see how he plays next year. I figure a lot of the same. Complaining to the refs every trip down the court. Getting shut down by a lot of teams with physical big men. He’s just not that talented. If he was all that then his little bit of NIL money wouldn’t be better than an NBA salary. Hope he saved it cause his draft stock won’t rise much unless he changes his attitude and the way he plays.

Hope he saved it cause his draft stock won’t rise much unless he changes his attitude and the way he plays. It means there were only a couple of big men the writers liked more and he's coming back. I doubt he's going to get worse in the off season so he should only be better. He should also have a better cast around him too.
