Speaking of rats jumping ship.... did you see where former 5 star, McDonalds All American, and Auburn Tiger Aiden Holloway is visiting Alabama this weekend?

Congrats on getting our scrubs! This must mean Sears is gone. Auburn got better and bama got worse. Great day!

Most of the guys aren't going to be able to go pro. You get a couple million or more for playing college ball, get that for a couple years, it will add a nice nest egg. The egg could be broken if they are out just spending it, or their parents are spending it for them. Most, not all, are too busy playing ball to actually get a degree, the problem will arise for these portal players to find which college will take them back after their playing days are over. A lot of colleges allow the players to come back and finish their degrees for free, that's going to be hard to swallow for portal players. Hey' I've got a lambo, bentley, mercedez, etc. for sale, gently used. I guess they don't look at the prices for fixing these things or the the maintenance on them.

For reference, the BEST position player on USA's roster was paid $40k above his school tuition to play baseball. The next highest was around $3k. The VAST MAJORITY of ncaa athletes make nothing above tuition. If that.
