They tried this out in Oak Grove…which is pretty much located in the middle of the triangle made by Bham, Jasper, and Tuscaloosa. It’s a VERY RURAL area.
Supposedly Antifa said they were going to take the fight out to the suburbs, to do the most harm to folks that weren’t like them.
Now the night they were supposed to get busy with the protests and mayhem…(saw it with my own eyes)…a group of blacked-out long SUV’s came easing down through Rock Creek…and there were a crapload of good ole boys just out parked on the sides of the road, in DG parking lots, people’s yards…and comparing shotguns, AR’s, deer rifles, etc…just a big friendly get together. Allegedly…the folks in the Black SUV’s asked the police to make all those people leave.
I cannot confirm or deny what the Po-Po’s said…but the caravan of black SUV’s couldn’t find the pallets of bricks that “just got placed” in random spots earlier that day…nor did they even think about doing any shooting or fire bottle throwing.
Imagine how hard it would be to concentrate to throw a brick through mamaw’s front door or window, knowing a BUNCH of other folks have you outnumbered….and just watching the show…
Nothing happened in Oak Grove or Rock Creek.

Best hope they don’t trigger an unstable person that’s already having a bad day (or life).
Have you ever seen the movie "Falling Down"?
Nope- any count?
I liked it. It's an older movie from 1993 starring Michael Douglas. It's about a guy going through a divorce that snaps while sitting in traffic one day. He gets out of the car and starts walking. Along his walk he does some things to folks that we all think we would like to do. He's not a "good guy" though.

Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton said yesterday they never try stuff like this in places like Arkansas , some good ol' boys would come along and throw them off the bridge.

He must have a very short memory. Nobody got tossed back on Feb. 3rd when protesters shut down the I40 bridge.

Some of the Muslim loving thugs have glued or chained themselves to the front row of cars . The Po-po could have cleared this hours ago. Back up rollbacks and winch the cars along with protesters up on the bed and haul them away.

I feel more and more like that dude every single day I go to work. The drive between Tuscaloosa and Vance, especially in the evenings on the way home, is enough to make any one snap.

Exactly but to be sure our good citizens are not liable just pass a law that if you are intentionally impeding the normal flow of traffic and are inquired or killed neither drivers, state, city etc. are liable. This crap would stop real quick when a bunch of good ole boys with ranch hand bumpers plow through a few of these.

I can't figure out why the police don't immediately remove these protestors.
Even if they are being "peaceful" in their protests, they're blocking a road and creating a potentially dangerous situation for others. These protests are not organized or authorized. In most cities (almost anywhere, really), a protest or parade or demonstration must have a permit from the city-county-someone.
These protestors darn sure aren't getting a permit to show up and block roads. And so the police should respond accordingly: "leave the road, as you are in violation of these laws-regs (a, b, c, etc) or you will be removed." And then remove them if they decline, while also adding "failure to comply" or whatever else can be tacked on.
And instead, the officers in many areas have to ask what to do, get permission to do their freakin' jobs, worry about someone at HQ or the mayor's office or elsewhere catching political heat, and other BS.
Running over these ignorant MFers would be the best thing. Failing that, the po-po should be dragging their butts off immediately.
