Looks like a really great time with friends.
My formula for hangovers has always been sausage biscuit, Gatorade and Goody powders and as much water as you can stomach. If that don't fix you by, say, 2:00 PM, you are screwed. You have to lock in and just grind through it till the next day. Obviously if by the next day you still feel terrible I guess you can now categorize it as "alcohol positioning". which still wont make you feel better, but at this point start taking dual-action Motrin-acetaminophen. Now, back off the fatty food and start eating healthy. It will eventually purge out.
Say "I'll never drink again", then let time pass. Then start over.
Congrats on the retirement! Go explore some hills for us all and eat some good food!

Couldn't help noticing the axes. Looks like at least one Gransfors. Nice! I love mine!
It's actually a Husqvarna. I think they are Gransfors factory blems that they brand as Husqvarna and sell for less money. We go through a lot of firewood up here at the cabin in the winter. At least a cord a season if not more when you count the outdoor fire pit.

But it definitely was a day to chill out yesterday. I did get my taxes done and filed electronically, which was a blessing. So I am free popping for the first time on a Monday morning for the first time in my life that I can remember. It feels pretty good. Edit: Well... I say free popping, I'm going to have to deal with this damned bear issue today and go find my garbage can and probably clean up a hell of a mess.
