So they cut the grocery tax a little and they are going to make up for it online. Sales tax for online purchases are going to go up. Its a good thing because it helps to level the playing field between online and brick shops. Its annoying because its ANOTHER PHUCKING TAX INCREASE! https://1819news.com/news/item/hous...etween-cities-counties-state-dept.-of-ed

At 9.3% that would be a higher sales tax than folks in Tuscaloosa county currently pay. Granted it's only .3% but like Skinny said, IT'S ANOTHER PHUCKING TAX INCREASE! No wonder Maddox is pushing it

No wonder Maddox is pushing it Tuscaloosa has a 10% sales tax rate. 4% to state, 3% to county and 3% to city. (This is for businesses inside the Tuscaloosa City limits)

I forgot the city of Tuscaloosa increased theirs a while back. However, in Lake View we only pay 9% ... 4% state, 3% county 2% to the city/town
