Since it is almost a hobby to complain about customer service, I'll relate my experience today at a nearby deli that makes as good a BLT as you can get. So I order a BLT and the poor lady taking my order thinks for a minute and asks if I want lettuce on it? Of course, I said "Yes". Then she asks if I want tomato? I again respond with an affirmative. She was very busy and the other help wasn't helping her so she waited on the next guy in line. She finally started on my sandwich. I watched as she expertly prepared it and wrapped it up. I then got her attention and politely said "Uhm, Ma'am, can you put bacon on it too"? She realized what she had done and turned red from embarrassment. She fixed it and it was great as usual. Now I tell this not as a complaint but a compliment. This poor woman was busting her butt to get customers served and no one was helping her, but just hanging around towards the back in plain sight. She was so frazzled that the BLT in a BLT escaped her. If I was hiring someone, I don't care what her IQ is, she would be at the top of the list. She was truly knocking herself out to get everyone's job done by herself. This place is begging to get workers and have even had to shut down its drive-thru window because of the lack of help. They need to keep her no matter what because she's a good'un.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

As a business owner, I would greatly appreciate a phone call to tell me which one of my employees was a stand out. With that many crappy ones, the owner might have given up on ever finding good ones. I always ask my stand outs if they have any recommendations before I hire someone. Unfortunately, I don't tell the manager anymore. Many of them perceive good employees as a threat, because they aren't worth a crap.

Dangit, that reminds me, I've got to find out who owns that new automatic car wash in Boaz. The assistant manager is about 20-22 and he's awesome.

went by a Burger King a while back...short version my wife left the non moving drive thru line and went inside. 30 min later she reemerged. There was ONE 50+ year old white woman taking orders and doing ALL the cooking by herself. NO help. WTH???

Picked up my JD mower today, took it off the trailer and the mower deck fell to the ground. The mechanic had not secured the deck brackets to the frame. Took a pic, sent it to the shop supervisor. He stated the cotter pins were on the work bench. He also said he was paying the lowest paid mechanic $25 an hour but could not get quality work done. But I paid the $125 an hour shop rate
🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I had to put the pins on myself.

Same way at a Burger King up here I frequent. Older white lady does twice the work of the young ones. No damn work ethic. They just there for a check

Lot of our younger generation is crap and it started w a bad set of parents. Had some young punks blatantly hit into us today and that is not the first time this year. Few weeks ago - i had my family out on course - these folks just got behind us - had not been waiting - i hear one hit - i yell back - do not hit now. To save details - he ended up riding by us to get to his ball - i dropped ny family off at the green and went back and verbally tore this 17 year old punks butt up!! Thats young America - straight losers. Happened today - they had not been waiting just pulled up hit when we were leaving green - different punks. I can play 9 in about 55 min to a single digit low handicap - these guys cant break 120 and thats fine - just hav a clue. Got on them - smarted off - tore into them pretty good. Their fagot parents prob never done that - and there where the problem starts

I was at a checkout the other day and the total was $11.16. I gave her $11.26, which is what I had in my pocket, so I would get a dime back and not have a pocket full of change. BLEW HER MIND. I had to explain to her what I was doing and why. I then even had to tell her how much change she owed me. Pitiful.

I had good service.Chelsea tire did the front end work on truck. U fortunately the truck developed a speed sensor issueand they didn't have the right equipment, but their other location did . Took it there and they fixed it and also got the skid plate from the Chelsea location that they forgot to install and installed it for me.

I ran into the same thing at the local Arby’s. I was going through the drive-thru and it was taking forever. There was only one lady taking orders, cooking, serving. She had the place to herself. I’ve quit complaining because the one you would be complaining to is usually working and trying to do the jobs of several.

tried to get a lowes employee to climb the stair ladder and pull a roll of carpet padding off. It was 6ft long roll of foam and the young man didn't have enough strength to pull a piece of foam off the pallet rack and told me I was out of luck. So todays men can not even pull a piece of foam off a shelf.

On a BLT side note...

Mrs. Irish always adds cheese and mustard to her BLT and just royally screws up the whole sandwich. I thought about divorcing her, but I've worked so hard training her to be a good wife in all other aspects, and at my age, it would be a pain to train up another gal, so I guess I'll just keep her.

I like how they’re offended if you do that.

The reality of today's work force is, it's hard to find quality people with work ethic and common sense. Most people just want the check without putting in any effort. It you can find someone who is coachable and puts forth the effort they are keepers. You just have to weed through a bunch of useless mf's first.

Managers are the biggest problem. Bad managers will always have a hired help problem. People simply won't tolerate the BS. Have ya'll noticed the trend of drive through asking for you to pull around or pull down to get your order, even when nobody is behind you? Because the manager gets a bonus if they reduce the time of each car at the window. That's why.

Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

I hit a McDonald’s drive thru a couple weeks ago off 59 on the way home from Bham. Young lady at the window told me my total was $10.37. I gave her a $20 and was looking at something on my phone while she was getting my change. After about a minute, she told me her machine was acting up and asked me if I’d use my phone calculator to subtract $10.37 from $20. I told her I bet it was gonna be $9.63 and she just looked at me like “prove it”. I had to show her the calculations on my phone to get my change back. Unbelievable.

I think Americans as a whole are.dumber and lazier now than any other time in history. I do a lot of traveling and Americans as a whole are pathetic. Don't get me wrong I work with some of the finest people you can imagine but as a whole we suck.
