An officer in Memphis was killed in the line of duty. He was involved in a shoot-out with two teenagers. One shooter is dead, the other arrested. The dead shooter was a known troublemaker who was out of custody on no bond. https://twitter.com/CollinRugg/status/1778816989047521636

If you go to https://www.odmp.org/, it's amazing how many officers die in car crashes and from being struck I took Criminal Justice class at UA as an elective...at least at that time (2005ish), being hit by a car/car crashes was the leading cause of death for law enforcement officers nationally (by a pretty significant margin I think)

Basically, anybody who works on the road for a living. Now that number has changed and LEO's are more likely to be killed by a shooter than a car accident.

Prayers to the murdered officers family......... Lord rest his soul....
I fear the worst is yet to come,,, with our current fed govt pouring heaps of praise and entitlements on the border jumpers,, these across the border invaders are starting their assault on the police and communities just like the other ethnic groups have been doing for a long time now...... I'm going to do something to get the hand and eye coordination skills sharpened up...problem will be how to take on two or more challengers in a chess match and come out victorious . Probably gonna happen Sadly many more officers will be killed this year. I’ve reached out I friends since I know a Memphis LEO. He’s fresh out and loves his job. He was off duty yesterday and is on a short weekender out of town.
