Politicians love power. They love power more than money.

When you have the entire citizenry under your surveillance you have power over them.

I can't remember where I heard it, but it goes something like this:

"Never vote to give your government a power that you wouldn't want your worst enemy having control over."

Pretty sure MTG did not vote against it either I may be wrong. I found that a little surprising. Figured she would be at top of the NO vote list.

These tools vote the wrong way on things like this all the time yet we, the people of Alabama, never vote them out. We need to change that. Palmer and Rogers are the worst.

FISA itself isn't bad
FISA abuse is horrible
I'm ok with FISA IF (big if) FISA abuse was punished to the full extent of the law, but it's not and never will be
