So, how does one do a background check?
Is it the same background check that “Academy, Bass Pro” does being serious here. Dealers can submit a background check with a laptop or even a phone now. Its done through a web based secure access system. Same as logging in to check your personal bank account.

Ok I read some of this last night best I can figure it will really only affect gun shows .
I don't understand the online buying thing that already covered by law . To me the new regs are already covered by law .
Unless something is hidden private sales are still ok.
Imo this is mostly ,,, look at me I'm doing something. I wouldn't be so sure it's just intended to cover gun shows. By "online buying" I think it may be referring to forum and Armslist sellers.

If passed it would make everyone that sells a firearm a dealer. Then when you sale and don't do a background check and get reregestered and that person you sale said gun to commits a crime with that gun. Then they will probably also charge you with accessory to said crime because that gun will still be in your name.
All you need to know is. Dead deer don't grow!

Probably free guns for homos and transexuals…
they have a high rate of suicide free guns might not be a good thing for them . I dont see the downside to this

Then they will probably also charge you with accessory to said crime because that gun will still be in your name. not the way i read it . only if you selling and buying guns for profit . you have to be a FFl to do that now so thats part of it what im not understanding . why i said i think a lot of it is just lip service .
