It's all a guess based on all their data and computers. Still a guess. Amazing what they can forecast though. Sure missed it yesterday. What is crazy is that all the businesses in my little town closed for the afternoon. This happens so often and over half the time the forecast misses for the catastrophic weather that is forecasted. I would much rather be at work on a rainy day and take off on a sunny day.

1.8" here since it started Tuesday. Seems James Spann posted we'd get 1.5-3" thru Thursday..hit it pretty close here.

I would love a job where I could be wrong that often and still keep it.

Whatever anyone wants to believe is ok with me. I have watched the weather every day for my entire life for whatever reason it's just part of what I do every night and morning grew up having to feed cows or do things outside and still get up before 5AM every morning.

Look no further than the Obama Administration. Whatever they did... new computer tech or hired/promoted stupid people.... the reason is what it is.... During his 8 years in office it got much worse and has never recovered.

Facts. Talking about drastically worse.... a complete miss within 24 hours was very rare with the exception of snow predictions.

I think they just throw in big words like thermodynamics, vorticity, and atmospheric river to confuse us and make it look like they know everything.

My favorite thing to do when watching tornado radar coverage is point at the TV in front of friends and family and say "See, that's a classic hook echo there"

i like how Red Holland used to do the weather - “There’s a 20% chance of rain today - that means that out of 10 clouds, 2 of ‘em have rain in ‘em” 😂
