Congrats Irish.

Retirement is a number(networth/cashflow) and not an age.

Yeah...

I don't think of it as "retirement" I think of it as "Financial Independence."

I can now do what I want, because I don't need to work to earn anymore money.

Congrats Irish!!! Glad you’re not gonna return too - enjoy “retirement” which will probably be more work than you were doing when you were working for the man. I’ll get there myself in about 10 years or so.

Again... Thanks to everyone for all the well wishes. Too many posts to reply to everyone, But I sincerely appreciate everyone.

It's still slowly sinking in. I've always had this feeling my whole life any time I was off work in the afternoons, in the evenings, on the weekends and on vacation that I ALWAYS should be doing something else. Like something more productive. I used to never take naps, because they always made me feel guilty, like I should be doing something instead of napping. That's one of the main things I'm going to work on letting that feeling go.

I still feel like I should volunteer in some capacity to help others. Do something to give back because of all that God has given me.

Congratulations on your accomplishments! That's good stuff! Lotta guys have died at work. One guy died on the toilet at my old job. Heart attack. We had to drag him off the toilet like that. Bad way to go.

Damn...

I can't imagine.

Well... I guess I can, I had to rescue one of my girlfriends off a toilet when she was messed up on Qualuudes. She was peeing and couldn't get up. I think I was in my later teens, early 20's. I also remember pulling food out of her mouth one time when she did too many. Boy... Those were the days.

But she was a fox of the highest order, so I put up with more than I should have.

Funny you mention naps, I used to enjoyed when I was still working, I have had very few since retirement!
