Looks like I will have to check into the Franchi infinity. Yall that are shooting the youth models, is it because of the lighter weight of the gun?? I went the youth route because the overall length of the gun is shorter. My choice had nothing to do with weight.

It’s light at 26”. I’ve got a sumtoy base with Burris ff3 and then shoot a trulock .585 in it. I got mine in black and had Inverness outdoors dip and ceracoat it

Wife got me a new shotgun for Christmas a couple years ago. Its an "ATA Arms" 12 gauge.
Almost looks like an off brand benelli...(it was) $300 on the shelf at academy. Been a really good gun so far.
Up until then, a 12 gauge my grandfather bought from Sears Roebuck 70 years ago. It is technically a pump action gun but the action hasn't worked consistently since I was a kid. You gotta fire it, open the action, dig the empty case out with a pocket knife, and reload another shell directly into the chamber lol
It will actually fire though. Killed my first turkey with it lol

Looks like I will have to check into the Franchi infinity. Yall that are shooting the youth models, is it because of the lighter weight of the gun?? I went with youth model for the 24" barrel length. Weight was also some consideration, but the barrel length was deciding factor. Franchi no longer makes a camo version of the compact. I believe they made them for a year or two, but for some reason stopped. The only option for youth/compact in the older style like most of use have is a solid black version. If you want a camo gun you will have to have it dipped or buy one of the newer models with the rifle sight barrels. I don't care for that look over the standard vent rib version. I almost bought a second Franchi Affinity compact but after I had it dipped with and drilled/tapped I would be close to $1000 invested if not over. I bought the weatherby element for $577 and it already had a factory camo job.

Is yours the 20 gauge?

SA28 has become my favorite gun to tote the last three years.
Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.
