Stevens 301, in 20 gauge with Burris FF 3, on top. I'm shooting Apex for the love potion.

Same thing I’ve been toting for 20+ years. Browning Cynergy 12 ga with the Jebs .665’s screwed into the barrels.

Started the season out with a 870 20 ga, with a 21" barrel, 562 ic choke. This week I'm using the brand new mossberg SA-28 tactical,
Have the ic 525 in it. Both pew pews have a Vortex venom. I might carry the 310t 410 a little the next couple of weeks.

Stoney you copying me… 😂 literally have the same primary and backup gun

You fellas going to shoot the factory choke?

I shoot an Undertaker .582 ported choke pushing 2 ozs of 8.5’s in my Franchi and will probably try an IC .570, Sumtoy in the .575 range, or a Carlson .575 pushing 1 3/4 ozs out of the Weatherby.

I have one and am trying to decide on which home I’m going to get. I’d be interested in seeing your patterns when you shoot.

Franchi Affinity 20 ga youth 24" barrel with a .582 Undertaker ported choke pushing 2oz of TSS 8.5's. Nasty pattern at 40 yards. Just sold a Yildz 20 ga youth O/U and replaced it with a Weatherby Element Turkey as my backup. It's at the gunsmith now waiting for him to drill and tap for the FF 4 Sumtoy mount.

I'll be testing a Trulock .575 and .585 in the weatherby with either 2oz of TSS 8's or 8.5's. I have some 9's to load up if I do not like the pattern of the 8 or 8.5.

My main gun is a 12ga Winchester 1300 with a 24” barrel, Williams rifle style sights and a Primos Tightwad choke. Also occasionally carry a 20ga Stoeger 3020 with a Jebs Headhunter choke shooting TSS

Looks like I will have to check into the Franchi infinity. Yall that are shooting the youth models, is it because of the lighter weight of the gun??

Well gents, after reading through these high sofitsticated setups to only kill a bird with a pea size brain I reckon I got the only setup that is Aldeer approved.

870 20ga with a full size stock, 21" barrel, Burris FF3, dipped in bottomlands with a Carlson's .565 choke and Apex #9s. Bought it off 257wby about 6-8 years ago.

I also have two Stevens 301's, one in 20 and one in 12 gauge, and a Mossberg 500 Turkey Thug tactical that I've killed most of my birds with. My grandson has it right now, but I'll probably use it when we're together and let him use the 28. I have an older TriStar Viper compact 12 gauge as well but have lost the charging handle on it, so it is pretty much useless. You guys don't where I might find one cheap do you? I've searched the internet and can't find one. Well, seems like I did find one, but it was more than I wanted to pay for a gun that hardly ever gets used.
