Is a terrible company. You can't report a missed pick up on their website, because they keep rescheduling your missed pickup until the next pick up day, or when they actually get to it.

We kept going over on yardage, so I ordered a bigger dumpster, it was supposed to be delivered 3/25, and its still not here. Its supposed to be delivered today, and they have changed the delivery time 3 times already. Does anyone believe they will deliver between 7 and 10 PM?

Why do we have all these government oversite agencies, and they don't look at this kind of mess? Same as with the Bham Water Works board, that's been crooked as long as I have been up in the Birmingham area.

I don't know about the company, but they put on a helluva golf tournament

Can't stand em. Seems at least 3 times a year they send us a few pics of a "slightly overfilled" dumpster and then wanna try and charge us double. Funny cause it's not from us, and we've exhausted efforts (and calling the police) of trying to get a lockable dumpster from them, which honestly isn't worth a chit either, cause it's not hard to get it open. So fk it

The fuel surcharge is laughable, even at it's lowest you get hammered with it, but we just keep on letting companies screw us. Alright time fir a drink now! 😏

You know what else they do? If they give you crappy service, they remind you that you have a 5 year contract. But when garbage disposal prices go way up, and they can't pass the costs on, they don't pick up!!

I bet they would love to get me out of my contract now!!

OH and its cheaper to schedule an extra pick up than pay an overage fee. Just an FYI!!

They wanted to charge me double on an overage for the apt complex..... just above the rim.... I told em that wasn't my tenants did that they know better ...I said it's no good for nothing people from around the block doing it ...they said too bad...put locks on the dumpster and make sure our tech has keys....

Non tenant trash was what caused the over fill.....I watched the web site video on my account and it showed the dumpster contents easily absorbed and compacted into the container truck with lots of room for others.... I called them and said if you stick with this double charge I'm going to look for a new dumpster contractor.... the nice lady said I'll credit your account just pay the normal fee you've been paying....

Not long after ...they increased the monthly contract fee...I said I have a contract with you folks to pay only so much a month for the year.. I said yall are trying to break the contract.... I'm only paying what I agreed to on the contract... another nice lady said ignore the price increase and keep paying what the contract price is.... I then get a call and am told they'll credit my account for the discrepancy mistake in the mailing WM sent me showing a $25 increase...

Things are steady now with WM.... but dang ...they don't seem to be able to dot their " i's " and cross their " t's " ...they have different lines for different states and to me that's where the problem lies with Wm...

You're still playing too nice. Here's what I did with a large uniform company that I divorced. I started sending them an email on uniform delivery day, telling them how many of each persons uniforms they had shorted us. The person who checks in the uniforms for our business, compiled the list that I sent them. After 4 weeks of this, I sent them a termination email. I gave them 7 days to pick up their uniforms. They sent one back saying that I was violating our contract. My reply was simple... Your contract states that you will provide us with a service, guaranteeing the uniforms to be in place. They are not. So then they started calling. Threatening a law suit. I told them the same thing I tell anyone who threatens litigation with us. "You better hire a dang good lawyer, because mine is fantastic." I don't have an lawyer on retainer, but know one good enough to throw that threat out there. Then they said it would count against my credit score. I told them that I didn't ever need to borrow any money again, so I didn't care. Then they sent me a bill for missing uniforms. I had 4 weeks worth of inventory to show cause that they were not delivering the agreed to uniforms. They didn't like that either. They then turned it over to a collections agency. The first time those people called, I told them I had a file containing proof that the uniform company broke their end of the contract and they couldn't prove that we caused the uniform shortage because I had proof that we never received the amount that their client promised to deliver. I asked them if they wanted a copy of the file and the man from the debt collection service said, Wow you've got every angle covered. I'll call the uniform folks and tell them there's no way they're getting a penny out of you, because I'm not wasting any more of your time, or my time on this. That was the last I heard of that issue.

So, when you get ready to castrate them, there's the recipe.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

WM is owned by Republic Waste and is a publicly traded company. Not much room for the mafia with that over sight.

Aren't WM and Republic Services direct competitors?

It was so bad in Elmore County - they canceled the contract and moved to ADSI. Their service ABSOLUTELY SUCKS!!!!

Elmore County Commissioners gave them the boot from Elmore County! Now we have Arrow Disposal and they have been pretty good so far!

We have ADSI (Arrow Disposal) in Covington County now, too. It was two or three years ago (I think) when they started and they ended up starting collection early after WM bailed out before they were supposed to as the county had already decided to change providers. They put out some big dumpsters at a few locations for people to take their trash to until they could get everyone picked up and set up with accounts here. We did not have a lot of issue on our road, but there were others who had issues quite often.
