Anyone have any experience with them?

Has Jeep ever fixed the oil cooler issue with the Pentastar 3.6? We've had to fix them on every Jeep and Ram truck we have.

We have some friends up here and they love theirs.

Well, its my work truck..its just a sport model. I just put some 265-70-17 ridge grapplers on it an it looks pretty good withem. It has been to the shop 3 times in less than 12k miles…its got some kinda shutter or skip or something that started at about 6k miles…they kept it for a week an it is still there an dont know whats up, the auxiliary stop start battery has had some issues an the electronics locked out on it one day..the engine would shut off..but electronics wouldnt…i unhooked the battery and it ran straight off the auxiliary like nothin ever happened..it was crazy…they kept it a day an flashed the computer..ever since they did that it has been pretty dang smooth..no other issues at almost 13k miles. I do like this thing…it is a really nice riding vehicle for a jeep and it has functioned pretty much flawless accept for the above issues. It has some safety features that suck…cant roll with the door open..will lock the whole thing down…honks 3 times every time i get out an shut the door with the fob in my poket..that drives me nuts. It is impressively powerful and has plenty of gitty up…overall…in my honest opinion..for what there bottom of the line cost…id buy a toyota tacoma 7 days a week an twice on sunday…i drive toyotas…an i doubt ill ever personally own a jeep of any kind ever again…these things are ugly..mine looks ok with some bigger tires but its still just…idk..i dont like the way they look. It is however free to me for work and only work..an i will drive it an take care of it.

I think they all similar..the colorados look a little bigger..i know a ranger is about the same cause we got one of them too…i cant tell much difference between them. For a smaller truck..they got plenty of room to me

My best friend has one (Rubricon). I think it is silly. The ride is rough, there are several repair issues and it is small. If he needs to tow his boat from winter storage to the lakehouse either I have to show up or he borrows his dad's tundra. He thinks it is cool, but he has recently purchased a 2005 Sierra and now that is what he drives most of the time because he said the ride is better, rear seat is bigger, and he can fit more in the bed.

My wife has asked me why a 6'4" 240lb man is doing driving a girls truck. We tried to put 4 of us in it for a fishing trip and we wont do that again. They arent made for big men.

The axles have had to be replaced at 60,000 and I said that was crazy. He said his dealer said it was a common issue. The Gladiator has all kinds of electronics for locking axles and such. But, short term the truck is too expensive to tear up and long term I dont trust the electronics (all touch screen) to hold up.

How's that work on a vehicle that is designed to be driven without the doors entirely?

BTW, I gave borrowed it on several occasions and also drive it in the woods quite a bit. Outsude of the size issues it drives like a jeep which isnt a compliment. He used my truck a few times 2002 HD crew cab and he always returned it saying "I cant believe how good that old truck drives." Well yeah, he is used to that rubricon gladiator.

Oh you can unplug them entirely…but then the power windows an door locks dont work…stupidest design i have ever seen

Drove one as a rental. Cramped and anemic (small engine) as hell.

Jeeps have become chick vehicles. Ever see all the stupid little animal dolls they put on the dash, hell back in the 80's I had a 1976 CJ5 with the 3 speed on the floor 304, headers, vette pipes and KC lights. Now that thing was bad ass. Wish I still had it. Rode like a damn bucking mule but was great in the woods. It was a chick magnet.

I have a jeep gladiator Mojave for a work vehicle and I’m not a jeep guy at all. It has big ass tires on it and it rides like a stage coach IMO. No room to put anything anywhere and it’s a cramped ride.. if it wasn’t for it being my work vehicle, I would have sold it after a week.
