Agree. I wouldn't own one, because I live in a rural area and in a hurricane zone.
However, if I lived in a city and needed mostly a local commuter car...I'd seriously consider one.

If I could afford to have one as a daily driver and keep my truck for hunting/camping/fishing and working that’s exactly what I would do.
If you want a comparison, the Aerosmith roller coaster ride at Disney goes from 0 to 60 in 2.68 seconds or something very close to it. It's a lot of fun if you play your Fast Passes right.

I drove a Rivian R1T today that belongs to a family member and I couldn’t believe how fast it was. 0 to 70 quicker than a hiccup. A lot of cool accessories like the lift and lowering air compressor and lots of storage space. But no I don’t want one.
