It looks like some folks did not survive. Fortunately it did not happen during rush hour. Thats going to screw up a traffic around there for a while. I wonder if they will start using ferries since they like fairies so much in DC.

Right now it looks like the ship lost power or at least control power of the motors and steering not long after leaving port.

Some of the internet guru's out there are pointing the big puff of black smoke as being a sign of some kind of weapon. Everybody that knows anything about a diesel motor knows that is the smoke of somebody hitting the big gas trying to make that motor turn the boat in the right direction.

Bout to see what that “build back better” is all about. If you think the new I-10 bridge over Mobile Bay is expensive. That one might set a new record. Liberal state with a major connecting bridge on the east Coast. I'm going to start to the low end bidding at $5billion.
