If anyone in south east alabama is interested we had a couple people back on on beef. I have one and a half left that will go to the processor's on April 15th. We have them slaughtered near Dothan which is where you have to pick up your meat. These are pure f1 hereford, brangus cross, and are fed out with grain right here on our ranch. Top quality is what we strive for! Also have feeder pigs for sale, we are also taking orders to sell them custom slaughter. This are pure blood, berkshire hogs which are also top quality meat. Processor will smoke hams and bacon, and make your sausage! Let me know if interested.

$4.50 a # hanging weight. You have to pay processing. Half a cow will be between $1000- $1500. These are a little light so should be on the lower side. Double that for a whole. Usually works out to $7-8 a pound for all your meat you bring home. Cow gets weighed at processor, you pay me for that weight, and the processor will call you to see how you want cut. This is top of the line beef, we raise it for this and don't cut corners! Hogs are $250 now, $500 for a whole hog at slaughter. It works the same way!
