Went to Publix today spent 42.71, Sales tax .70 and food tax 3.17 for total of 46.08. Can anyone tell me what the hell is a food tax, It's not on a Winn dixie SALES SLIP. Because Publix is reporting each expense, and Winn-Dixie lumps it all together in Tax. Bet if you buy the exact amount at WD, the total would be the same in the same tax area.
