Good to see Justin leading the classic. Has about a 6 lb lead with two hours to weigh in.

He built himself a nice cushion too. He caught a number of quality fish today according to Basstrak. Hopefully the big weather change does not affect his area or him getting to them.

Pretty much everyone in the top 35 had 12-18lbs today. If Hamner can just catch 13 tomorrow, I don’t think anyone can catch him and the young man will have his first classic win. He’s put himself in a great position to do it.

Hamner has a 2-8 lead now; 2nd place smallest fish is 2-8. He will need a couple of 4lber's to catch to catch him. And Hamner could increase with a couple of 2lber's counted now.

Hamner made about a 3 pound cull right after I posted that. They were only ounces apart before, I think he’s got it in the bag now.

Big life changing weekend for the young man. Comes from a hard working and down to earth family.

Seems like a nice kid. Glad to see one of the Alabama guys win it.
