Pretty much everyone in the top 35 had 12-18lbs today. If Hamner can just catch 13 tomorrow, I don’t think anyone can catch him and the young man will have his first classic win. He’s put himself in a great position to do it.

Guy from the BASS Opens is on his tail. Hamner has a 2-8 lead now; 2nd place smallest fish is 2-8. He will need a couple of 4lber's to catch to catch him. And Hamner could increase with a couple of 2lber's counted now.

Guy from the BASS Opens is on his tail. Hamner has a 2-8 lead now; 2nd place smallest fish is 2-8. He will need a couple of 4lber's to catch to catch him. And Hamner could increase with a couple of 2lber's counted now. Hamner made about a 3 pound cull right after I posted that. They were only ounces apart before, I think he’s got it in the bag now.
