Kayden Proctor, freshman All-American left tackle at Bama last year who transferred to Iowa in January....has announced that he is transferring BACK to Bama after spring.
This transfer portal is crazy.

That's possible Iowa usually has some pretty big corn fed boys up front. He may have gotten there and wasn't as good as he thought he was. That's also possible.

Iowa usually has some pretty big corn fed boys up front. He may have gotten there and wasn't as good as he thought he was. Yeah. Iowa has always had a world class football program. Top notch. Thank goodness he came back down to the lower levels of college football, at the University of Alabama  Iowa puts a lot of linemen in the NFL.

I know You have plenty of knowledge on the game of football. I am sure You know how difficult it is for a True Freshman to come in and start at Left Tackle in the SEC and especially difficult to start for a team that competes for the SEC and National Championship each and every year. The kid started out bad at beginning of season but got a whole lot better by end of season. If a player is able to come in and start for Nick Saban at Left Tackle as a True Freshman, We as Alabama fans should most definitely want Him on the team.

If dude was able to come in "that bad" and start as tf...wth does that say about all the other linemen you recruited the last several years?? They (ua coaches) wanted a massive line, so they made one...that quick d'linemen ran around just about every play. And i swear, i thought he was one of the ones saban alluded to about asking for more money to play in the playoffs/championship?

Ya'll do realize he from Iowa right? Anyway, it's strange that he would be coming back to Bama. Something had to be happening outside the public eye Word on the skreet is that he and Caleb Downs went on spring break with some old teammates and got the full court press. Some on this board might be retracting the “portal and NIL are evil cause Nick told me so” statements…. It will be interesting to see this play out.

Or, maybe (hopefully) Saban told DeBoer that for now, the portal is the wild west, and to go ahead and dominate it. FYI...my feelings about the portal still haven't changed. It needs to be restricted.
