Dobson, who is in a runoff with Brewbaker for the new district 2 seat, said she is planning on bringing out the soccer mom vote like Kati Britt did. How do your women feel about being labeled as a “soccer mom”? I don’t think there is a whole lot of soccer moms in that district.

Soccer moms has become the title for married women ages 20-45 with kids. I don’t know anything about that district though.

Years ago I was in a crowd of adults and the white woman speaking said something along the lines of "now come on Soccer Mom's! ...." in the fake cheerleader voice.
Two black women behind me didn't care for the woman speaking. I heard one of them say, "I bet she can fit three soccer balls in that wore out purse"!

...I almost pissed myself I had to hold back the laughter so bad.

If they want votes they should lower our taxes. Alabamians are way over taxed for what we get. We are 5th highest in the nation when you.combine state and local taxes.

I think its ridiculous what i pay in taxes. All the income, advelorum, property tax, sales tax, and utility taxes. Oh and don't let me forget the gas tax......

Crazy how the majority of our states elected officals in Montgomery are "conservative" Republicans and we can't get no tax relief. I laugh we folks act like Republicans going to actually be conservative.

But I agree with Pwyse... white moms between 20-45 with kids are now labeled soccer moms.
