What do y'all like? I had one made, but the optic pretty much touches the kydex. We the people any good?

Can you not trim the kydex away from the optic?

No there is a pin or whatever thru the backside of the holster that secured the kydex to it that really needs to move about 1/4 inch to give me clearance. I don't think it would keep the pistol from snapping in there, it's pretty snug..

Garret makes a nice leather lined holster and can order for your optic.

Tenicor Velo or Certum and I also like the CYA Ridge. Both work with a red dot with no issues. $110 vs $60.

Can you not heat mold the kydex to push it away from the optic? Just a suggestion to avoid scrapping

No it's the corner where the kydex and the back side of the holster attach. It has a pin there that needs it move to make it work.

Just buy a normal self defense gun and leather iwb holster like a real man.leave the tactical cool alone
Hell even the Marines don't train with pistols anymore even in infantry .leave the electronics at home and toys with plastic holsters
Still nothing wrong with a snubby 38 or single stack 9 or 45 for EDC with leather iwb holster

Yeah seen several people with broken kydex holsters.plastic breaks

Check out don hume leather holsters.or hell any leather

Never had a broken iwb leather holster in 25+ years of carrying

Kydex are for toys .breaks like a cell phone clip

Leather has always been best.not sure why any question

But you'll find out shortly if you actually carry

I have one of those my shield without and optic sits in but the optic one won't fit down in it far enough.

The 3 I had made, all works fine.

Yes, and he brought it to me and showed me before he molded it to the gun. It fits in it, but the optic does just touch the edge of the kydex. I have 2 regular shields, so I could use this for them too.

The same place made me a holster for my G17 and its awesome. But no optic. They also made the one for my XDM 10mm with an optic. No clearance issues on that one.

If it's just barely touching the edge of the kydex, could you shave it down with a dremel?
