I haven't seen the first one here in Henry County. I always see the first ones in late January and there are usually flocks of them in the hay fields and patures by now. Is anyone else seeing any in big numbers?

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

They did not show here this winter. First time in my lifetime. I did see a few a week ago down on the coast across the bay where I have never seen any. Go figure.

I was noticing the same thing at my place in Baldwin Co this year. First time ever I’ve not had a yard full in late January/Feb.

After looking at this thread yesterday I made it a point to look this morning to see if there were any in the pasture. We had around a dozen of them this morning feeding here in the Shoals area.

Well it sounds like we aren't getting the numbers we have had. I have always enjoyed seeing them. I guess because of the stoies my dad used to tell me about eating them. It's funny how as I get older silly things mean more to me.

Looking at them right now outside my window. We have a bird feeder attached to the window and dang near everything comes to eat off it. Except squirrels. They've got no way to get to it...yet.

I haven't noticed a decline around my place near Boaz. I have noticed that the flocks of a zillion blackbirds are a thing of the past though. Used to be that a flock would take 20 minutes to fly over.
