He'd been hunting in Dallas County and come to speak to the students at Morgan Academy. Super funny. The best part though was when they were bringing him in, Glenda Nichols, a rough ole gal that didn't play, was the jailer matron assigned to the entry point for vehicles. She stopped the truck and told them they couldn't park in there. When Foxworthy asked why, Glenda said "Some supposed bigshot is coming. Probably thinks his shucks don't stink so he has to park by the door". She had no idea who he was except she expected the person she was waiting for wasn't supposed to look like a Redneck.
Foxworthy then said something along the lines of "Hell, we'd better find another place to park then." Said he was super gracious about it and posed in some pics later with the very embarrassed Glenda. He's lucky that is all he got. She had as foul a mouth of any prisoner in the jail and she didn't mind using it to express her feelings. RIP, Glenda. I always expect for her to be part of the show every time I hear him now.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I’d love to see him in person. I don’t understand other comedians feeling like they need to be filthy to be funny. The wife and I saw Bill Ingvall at the Stardust in Hoover many years ago before he really made it big. He was really funny too. He was still such a small name that he would do his show then go out and man his table personally, selling his cd’s and other stuff. Super gracious guy that was happy to talk to anyone that stopped.
