The best way is to take a low limb and weight down to bare dirt. The limb will root, you cut it behind the weight, dig it up and set it out.

When you’re pruning take off 8-12” of a healthy twig, preferably a young one from prior year, stick it in a pot with potting soil and keep watered. Ideally take clipping before green up, February. Might have some success now.

Don't forget to add Glyphosate as soon as the twig fully leafs out.

And... cover the cutting with a 2 liter clear bottle for a while. They need that moisture early. No overwhelming sunshine either.
