♦ "That bad decision is going to come back and bite them." ~~ Mostly nonsense. I'm the only person I know who has some serious, real regrets about decisions I've made.
♦ "God never puts more on you than you can handle." ~~ Total nonsense. Within Christian theology, God absolutely will put more on you than you can handle. If you could handle it in your own sufficiency and in your own strength, you wouldn't need God.

Actually the Bible says, 1 Corinthians 10:13 New King James Version 13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to [a]bear it. That line of thought usually comes from that scripture. I don't believe under the New covenant, God puts anything on anyone. He might allow it, but He surely doesn't put anything on you.

In keeping with the biblical theme, I always cringe when I see/hear people talking about a loved one who passed and say things like "Heaven gained a new angel", or "Uncle Billy-Bob got his angel wings"......It's not even remotely biblical in any way, but if you try to point it out to them, you just look like an ass
