I've avoided cell cameras for some time now. Because of that, I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to them.
I'm now considering running a couple out of state. Those of you that use them out of state, tell me the good, the bad, and the ugly concerning brands, service, price, and reliability.
Thanks!!

If out of state or any long distance make sure you hook it up to a herd 360 solar charger. You will save yourself a ton of time and money. I don't use solar on any of mine. Too much attention and the cams take a walk. I've luckily never had one stolen but, all of mine are at a higher than normal elevation. If ya not over bait, todays cams last forever on a set of batteries.

I'm in Florida and run a few Tactacams in Kentucky. I have had good luck with them. Picture quality is not create unless you purchase a more expensive package. I use Verizon and coverage has been good. Down side is battery life. I set my to upload photo to me once a day, happens at night, and that has really extended battery life. That's the key
