Since 2016 our elected officials have caused significant harm to this Country. Katie Britt is the RHINO/Uni-Party's rising star that's how and why she got the rebuttal opportunity because they think we are stupid and have the mental capacity of a 4th grader.

and that's exactly why she is getting roasted. This is not a game. We aren't stupid and I don't appreciate the fake ass delivery we will lose more votes from her performance than we will gain because it is now a joke. That's not something to be proud of.

Alabama definitely isn't better than others at picking good candidates but they aren't any worse, either. Every state likes to point at other states representatives and say they need to be voted out. I'm on the Tennessee/Kentucky line and talk to folks from both states daily. The Kentucky folks will tell you that all Rino's need to go except for McConnell. He brings home the bacon and they don't want that to stop. Most Republican voters will tell you Rino's are a problem but they want every other state to vote theirs out and leave mine alone. Shelby is a prime example of that. Alabama Republicans knew he was a RINO establishment guy but they voted for him every chance they got for the same reasons Kentucky folks keep voting for Mitch. It's why I have less faith in Republicans to vote in their own best interests. Democrat voters are actually getting what they want while Republican voters consistently vote against their own best interests. It's insane to see Republicans accuse democrats of being stupid when you look into which sides representatives are actually doing what their constituents want.

I agree sort of. What we've got to do is recognize this for what it is... the sheeple exist on both sides... We have to quit voting for who we are told to vote for and I'm not saying another candidate was better I am saying it took $30 million for Mitch to put who he wanted in our Senate chair for THEM.... the Uni-Party. They think we are stupid and they would be correct. What is described above has worked for them for at least 2 decades and they have successfully nearly destroyed the Country. The difference is now I'm not the only one talking about it. That performance Katie put on... that's what makes people realize the Republicans also think we are stupid sheep. That's not good. It's just embarrassing. However... You still can't take the facts off the table... like the fact that she had never held an elected office. Not even locally. She isn't some proven successful business person. None of that. At this point it's in stone.... she was never anything more than a troll lobbyist who worked for Shelby. Who elected the worst candidate in 2022. Probably Alabama I mean Fetterman seems to be doing a lot better.

Simple answer... Voting track record. They have been doing this here in Alabama since the 1990's when the Democrats starting switching to the Republican party. They switched around that time because politically the Democrats in office realized they would never get re-elected as Democrats. Same people. Kay Ivey was a Democrat. The list is long but still relevant given all the politicians of that era are still in office which is a different conversation as to why and should that be appropriate.

It's obviously not a problem that is entirely Alabama's problem. Mitch is from Athens, AL Many here probably don't know this. He married into the CCP in 1993 the Chinese Communist Party is his 2nd wife.

Our last governor got busted for having an affair with a woman in his office.

Seigleman went to jail for corruption.

I can't remember if there was a scandel under Bob Riley.

Then we have John Rogers, who can barely speak a language we can understand under indicment for corruption. Larry Langford, corruption. That whole Jefferson County Commission was corrupt. Larry wasn't even a resident of Birmngham when he was elected mayor. Birmingham might as well be Detroit, MI.

Exactly, Trump will not make the same mistake he did last time by picking a wimp like Mike Pence. I’m not a Britt hater but she is a lightweight on the political scene. The best bet would be Vivik, but dont count out Kristy Noem or Kari Lake (although Lake is running for the senate in a Dem state. It makes more sense for her to take a Dem Senate seat)
